Garden bed 06 - March 2026

Each garden bed is divided into 8 "Units" - see letter A, B, C, D, E, F,G & H on long side wooden sleepers. This helps us locate the plant areas for seeding, planting seedlings, harvesting and so on.

Beetroot

Deep red, flattened globe shaped roots growing up to 10cm. With attractive tall glossy leaves, this is an ideal variety for salad greens.

Carrot

Large orange roots growing to 20cm. Can be planted almost all year round. Very popular in Queensland and New South Wales. Good disease resistance.
